Chemical and Environmental Engineering Group

Sandra Martín finished a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from Rey Juan Carlos University in 2019, with a Special Distinction for the Best Academic Record. She was in an Erasmus Exchange period in Strathclyde University (Scotland). Subsequently, she studied the Master's degree in Chemical Engineering by Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) and Autónoma de Madrid University (UAM). Thanks to these degrees, she has participated in research projects at different institutions such as the Center for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research (CIEMAT) or the UAM itself. In addition, in 2019 she was awarded the SECAT scholarship for Introduction to Research in Catalysis, which she developed at the URJC. Since March 2020, she has held a position as a Predoctoral Researcher at the URJC carrying out research work in the Chemical and Environmental Engineering Group in the line of advanced heterogeneous catalytic processes for biomass valorisation.
