Laura de Castro López has a degree in Chemistry from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2023), followed by a Master´s in Chemical Science and Technology with a focus on instrumentation and bioanalysis (2024). Her Undergraduate and Master´s Thesis centered on the use of immunoassay strategies on solid microsupports for the electrochemical quantification of biomarkers related to angiogenesis in cancer. She completed her External Internship at the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas Margarita Salas CSIC-CIB (2022–2023). Currently, she is working as Technical Scientific Staff in the Chemical and Environmental Engineering Group, studying on polymeric hybrid materials for controlled drug release.
