Rosalía Rodríguez studied Chemical Engineering in Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2001) and received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering by Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (2006) working in the development of new catalysts for 1-hexene oligomerization. She has been assistant professor during 8 years in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Technology in Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. She completed post-doctoral research visits in the Laboratoire de Materiaux Catalytiques et Catalyse en Chimie Organique CNRS (Montpellier, France, 2006) and the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (Pau, France, 2008). Nowadays, her main research interests are focused on the formation of inorganic scales in the crude oil extraction and transportation processes.
