Chemical and Environmental Engineering Group

Jovita Moreno studied Chemical Engineering in Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (1995-2000) and received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering by Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (2000-2005) working in the development of new chromium catalysts for ethylene polymerization. She has been assistant professor during 8 years in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Technology in Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and since 2008 she occupies a position as lecturer in the same Department. She completed a post-doctoral research visit in the group of Professor David C. Sherrington at University of Strathclyde during 2006 about the preparation of novel organic-inorganic hybrid materials by grafting of polymers from mesostructured silicas. Nowadays, her main research interests are focused on developing new heterogeneous catalytic systems for olefin polymerization and on the study of hydrogen production methods by Life Cycle Assessment tools.
