Mónica Onrubia Márquez has a degree in Chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2020 she obtained a Master degree in Drug Discovery from the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of Alcalá de Henares. She finished her studies with her project fluorescent sensors in neurodegenerative diseases.
During her training she has collaborated in the photochemistry research line of the organic chemistry department at UCM.
Currently, Monica is working at URJC as a predoctoral researcher, developing her thesis on mesoporous materials for controlled drug release.
