She graduated in Environmental Sciences at the University of Almeria (finishing in 2014). In the professional field, she worked at the University of Almeria as a predoctoral researcher from June 2017 to May 2018 in a research group specialized in the use of soil biocrusts (Cyanobacteria, fungi and lichens) as a tool to restore degraded lands. The tasks of this job position involved cultivation and harvest of Cyanobacteria and different physico-chemical analysis. Stay of 3 months at the Institute for Agricultural and Fisheries Research and Training and 1 year in the Arid Zones Experimental Station (EEZA-CSIC). Currently, her research are focused on the use of microalgae and Cyanobacteria biofuels production.
