Alejandra Sánchez-Bayo is Chemistry graduate (Inorganic Chemistry, 2013) with a Master's degree in Chemical Science and Technology (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2014) both from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Her Final Year Project as well as her Master Thesis deal with the synthesis and characterization of Cu(II) liquid crystals with pyrazole ligands and were developed in the “Coordination Compounds based Molecular Materials Group” of the Inorganic Chemistry I Department.
She is currently a PhD student and a teacher in the “Chemical and Environmental Engineering Group” at the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC). Her teaching is framed in the field of Chemistry and Physical Chemistry and her PhD deals with the production of biofuels from microalgae.
